You and your employees continue to work to finish the year strong but first, you’ll all take a break to feast with loved ones and give thanks. This is the perfect time to express to your employees that you recognize their work excellence all year long. What better way to do that than with a written letter? Tips for Using Thank You Note Templates

Use these thank you note templates as a guide as you write to thank employees for a job well done. Be sure to be specific when providing examples to express your thoughts on a personal basis. Specific examples allow employees to truly see that you notice their hard work and care. Also, rather than typing out the notes listed above, consider handwriting them. A handwritten note takes time and shows that you took the time to express your gratitude for their hard work. Finally, while it’s not required, you could add a small token of appreciation for their hard work such as a gift certificate for a free coffee.

Keep in mind that these notes are meant to encourage the positive or valuable behavior you witness and want to continue. So when you see an employee doing something you like, recognize it with a thank you note from time to time!
